Spend an evening with David Lombardo, the dynamic wine and beverage director of the famed restaurant Landmarc, as he reveals the secrets of recognizing and understanding aromas of classic wine varietals. Set in our Gallery, this atypical wine class takes place around the dinner table - and group interaction is most definitely encouraged! Besides the eight different wines you'll be tasting, each table will be set with a cornucopia of aromatic ingredients: from coffee to kiwis, grapefruits to green peppers. With these scents on hand, you'll quickly learn to pick out these aromas commonly associated with certain varietals. And, beyond that, you'll learn to sniff out the differences between varietals grown in different regions or terroirs - how the same grape expresses itself differently in North America versus in South America. Guaranteed to be a fun and educational evening, this class is particularly great for groups.
