Known as the Garden of France, the Loire has so much beauty to offer in terms of wine. From the crisp Muscadets of the Nantais to the stunning Sauvignon Blancs of the central vineyards; we will explore the Anjou, Saumur and Touraine and all the wonderful styles of Chenin Blancs from sparkling to still and dry to sweet. We will taste great cool-climate red wines fashioned from Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir.

We will explore this, the longest river in France and what some refer to as the last wild river in Europe, as we come to understand what maybe the most important region of white wine production and the third largest AOC viticultural area in France.
