Join us as we continue to uncover the secrets of the kitchen with seasoned Chef Carl Raymond in this 4-hour long intensively interactive experience. In Part II, we’ll build upon the skills we learned in
The Fundamentals of Cooking
to take your culinary skills to the next level! The class will begin with a rundown of the essential tools necessary to build your culinary creations (as well as those you should skip). Next you'll get your hands dirty while we explore the in-depth knife skills to bring your dishes to fruition. We'll examine more advanced techniques, delve deeper into the wild world of sauces, explore the delicate art of seafood cookery, and show you just how to choose the freshest of ingredients. The class will take small breaks throughout the course to sample to fruits of your labor and to discuss your newly-learned techniques.
Following this intensive and hands-on course, we’ll wind down just like the pros, over a glass of wine and an intimate ‘how to’ on tasting critically and pairing.
