Robert Kushner

Kushner's work has been exhibited extensively in the United States, Europe, and Japan. Kushner was the subject of one-person exhibitions at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Brooklyn Museum and a mid-career summary of his work was organized by the Philadelphia Institute of Contemporary Art.

A monograph on Kushner's work,Gardens of Earthly Delights, was published by Hudson Hills Press in 1997. A compilation of Kushner's more recent paintings was published by Pomegranate in 2006.

Kushner's works are in museum collections around the world: The Museum of Modern Art; The Metropolitan Museum of Art; The Whitney Museum of American Art; The National Gallery of Art; and The Philadelphia Museum of Art.
