Sarah Klein

Klein is interested in the contrast between the domestic world and the public world, and in her videos, drawings, and performances she explores the conducts and codes that define these two realms. Much of her work focuses on bread, to explore issues related to consumption, competition, ecology and more. Through her performance series The Bread Project she brings the process of making naturally leavened bread to people in unexpected places.
