It’s a big world of whiskies out there. You’re probably familiar with drams from major whisky-producing countries—Scotland, the U.S., Ireland, Canada, and Japan—but you might be surprised to learn that India has award-winning single malts. Or that Austria makes unique whiskies by aging them in Trockenbeerenauslese wine barrels. As we taste whiskies from some of the most unexpected areas around the globe, we’ll discuss how distillers utilize their particular climates, grains, and traditions to make delicious, world-class drams.
