Are you tasting oak on that wine? How do you differentiate between tannins and acidity? What does “dry” really mean? In this class, Wine & Spirits Magazine’s Tasting Director, Sarah Sutel Looper, will calibrate your palate so you can identify wine's structural elements. You’ll learn how to put words to what you're tasting and better describe your favorite wines.

Classes are 2 hours long, including a Q&A session with Astor Center Instructor Sarah Sutel Looper.

  • 6 Examples of neutral wine featuring different structural elements
  • 4 Tasting pours of wines that showcase these elements
