Beyond Taste: Engage in the Architecture of Wine
Ticket Price: $89
Tuesday, Aug 5 6:30 PM

Here’s your chance to take your wine knowledge to the next level by peering beneath the surface and exploring the fascinating core components of wine. This workshop-style class will equip you with the tools to understand why a wine tastes and feels the way it does. We'll unravel the mysteries of acidity, the backbone that provides freshness; tannin, the structural element that can create a textural grip; sugar, which dictates the level of sweetness; alcohol, which contributes to the wine’s body; and the elusive concept of body itself.

Take it as a stand-alone class or as a perfect follow up to May’s popular class, ‘Discover Your Wine Style’.

Classes are 2 hours long, including a Q&A session with Astor Center Instructor, May Matta-Aliah.
