Kathy Gunst

Notes from a Maine Kitchen is Kathy Gunst's 14th cookbook and her most personal. A literary cookbook, Notes combines essays about cooking, gardening, foraging and living in Maine following the calendar year, plus 75 new recipes. Gunst lives in southern Maine and is the "Resident Chef" for the award-winning radio show, Here and Now (heard on over 160 public radio stations nationwide). She writes for many publications including New York Times, Bon Appetit. Food and Wine, Down East, Yankee, LA Times, Culture, Better Homes and Gardens and more. She writes a blog for downeast.com called Notes from a Maine Kitchen. Gunst teaches cooking and food writing all over the country.
