Mark Russ Federman
Mark Russ Federman, 3rd generation of the Russ family, left a career in law to run Russ & Daughters, his family's famed appetizing shop. He is a contributor to the book, Gastropolis: Food and the City to be published this fall by Columbia Univeristy Press. He is currently working on his own book. Mark now considers himself "emeritus" at Russ & Daughters, as he passes the business on to the 4th generation. Among his most appreciated honors is membership in R.A.L.S (Royal Academy of Lox Slicers).
