Sean Basinsky
Sean Basinski is director of the Street Vendor Project at the Urban
Justice Center. He graduated from Wharton School at the University of
Pennsylvania and Georgetown Law Center. Prior to law school, Sean spent six months selling burritos on the corner of Park Avenue and 52nd Street in Manhattan. In 2001, Sean received a fellowship from Yale Law School's Initiative for Public Interest Law to start the Street Vendor Project. He spent the first half of 2009 as a Fulbright Scholar researching
street vendors and the informal economy in Lagos, Nigeria.
