Mezcal Week: Beyond Oaxaca

Join us for a special class in honor of Mezcal Week! While most of Mezcal comes from the state of Oaxaca, there are regions all over Mexico that produce delicious agave spirits. Taste through different regional Mezcals from Puebla, Durango, Michoacan, and beyond. We’ll discuss the aspects of terroir that makes each region special including agave varieties, production methods, and traditions.

Classes are 2 hours long, including a Q&A session with Astor Center Instructor Tess Rose Lampert.
