If you can no longer attend a class you registered for, and it is at least 72 hours before the day of the class, you have the option of rescheduling your reservation for another class or receiving an account credit to put toward a future class. Both of these options can be done online through your account page. Instructions can be found below. You can also call our customer service line at (212) 647-7501 or email us at info@astorcenternyc.com for assistance.

If the 72 hour mark has passed, you will not be able to switch out of the class or receive an account credit. However, we do allow you to transfer your tickets to another person for use. Please give us a call to assist with changing the reservation name.

When tickets for a class are exchanged for credit, you will receive a credit equal to the price you paid for the tickets. This credit remains available in your online account until you choose to redeem it.

To redeem class credits:

  1. Log into your Astor Center account
  2. Fill your shopping cart
  3. When you reach the “Billing Info” page, click the button that says “Apply Credit"

You can monitor your class credits on your “Account Credit” page. (Click the “My Account” button to find this option.) Please note that we are unable to use your class credits when you make a reservation over the phone. Redeeming credits can only be done online through your account.

Astor Center class credits cannot be exchanged for merchandise at Astor Wines & Spirits

If you are registered for a class but can no longer attend or if would like to switch into another class, you can do so through your account portal if the class is of equal or lesser value.

To switch classes:

  1. Log into your Astor Center account
  2. Click on the “My Events” tab on the “My Account” page
  3. View events eligible for exchange

If you would like to switch into a class that is more expensive than the class you are currently registered for, you can do so by calling our customer service line at (212) 647-7501. You will need to provide us with a credit card so that we may charge you the difference and then we will manually switch you into the other class.

If the class you want is sold out, you can add your name to the waitlist. Just visit the page for the sold out class and select the “Waitlist” button. We will contact you if any seats become available.

To change the name on a reservation, transfer tickets, or to purchase a class for someone else, please contact customer service so that we can update this manually for you. You can call us at (212) 674-7501 or email us at info@astorcenternyc.com.

Astor Center does not reserve or assign seats for guests. If you are coming with a friend or a group and wish to sit next to each other, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes prior to the class start time to secure seating. Late comers are subject to whatever seats are left.

You may purchase an Astor Center gift card here. Simply enter in any whole dollar amount, add to your cart and then check out. Gift cards have a flat-rate shipping charge of $5, regardless of address or number of cards purchased.

All gift cards require an adult signature for delivery as all classes and events at Astor Center are only open to those 21 years of age and older. Gift cards arrive within 3–5 business days of purchase, and come in an attractive card case with room for a personal note. If you are buying a gift card to give as a gift, we ship the cards directly to the gift buyer in order to avoid the risk of loss or confusion in delivery.

Astor Center gift cards do not expire and can be used towards the purchase of any Astor Center class. Purchases with Astor Center gift cards must be made online through an Astor Center account.

Please note that you cannot use an Astor Center gift card for purchases at Astor Wines & Spirits, or vice versa.

To use an Astor Center gift card or to check the balance of a gift card:

  1. Log into your existing account or create a new account, if you don’t already have one
  2. Select the class you’d like by adding it to your cart
  3. On the “Billing Info” page, you will see the gift card balance and an option to use it for payment

Please note that for Astor Center gift certificates purchased prior to November 15th, 2010, no physical gift card exists. To redeem certificates issued prior to 12/15/2010, please call us at (212) 674-7501. We will convert your old gift card balance into an Astor Center account credit, which may be redeemed online.
