Single Malt Whiskey: USA vs Imports
Ticket Price: $89
Wednesday, Sep 10 6:30 PM

It looks like we can't agree on anything any longer, so let's take it to a new level of Armageddon.  America makes some awfully good tasting whiskies, but wait...so does the rest of the world.  And lately, we've all been agreeing on...wait...what?...Single Malts. We'll taste 3 American Single Malts and 3 Single Malts from other areas of the World (other than Scotland) in a head-to-head, tariff-busting showdown of malted barley, cask finishes and proofs.

Classes are 2 hours long, including a Q&A session with Astor Center Instructor Robin Robinson.

What you can expect:

  • 1 Welcome drink
  • 3 Tasting pours of single malt whiskeys from the USA.
  • 3 Tasting pours of single malt whiskeys from abroad.
  • Palate-cleansing bread & cheese
  • A 15% discount on all spirits tasted to use in-store after class
