Sicily is home to new Italian classics. The Etna DOC, the first to be established on the island in 1968, is finally getting well-deserved attention after years of obscurity.

In this immersive workshop, we’ll discuss the major wine regions of the island, identify the major indigenous grapes, and explore Sicily's rich winemaking history. We’ll taste a flight that demonstrates the unique influence of volcanic soil and maritime climate.

Classes are 2 hours long, including a Q&A session with Astor Center Instructor, Tess Rose Lampert.
