Angie Ketterman

Angie Ketterman may be the only person alive who’s worked alongside the Scorpions and Martha Stewart. A longtime presence at the Food Network, she’s worked on just about every FN show - including Iron Chef, Top Chef, Molto Mario, Boy Meets Grill, 30 Minute Meals, Wolfgang Puck, How to Boil Water, Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee, and many more. Stewart chose Angie to be one of her two on-air chefs on the popular syndicated show Martha, where she worked from its premiere in 2005 until 2007.

“I grew up eating Spaghetti-O’s,” she admits. “My family weren’t real foodies—although both my grandmothers did make killer pies. I won the Home Ec Award in 8th grade for recreating Grandma Ketterman’s meringue.” It wasn’t until she moved to California that Angie became truly excited about cooking. “L.A. had so much incredible produce, so many great restaurants, and all these amazing ingredients available. That’s where I really began to care about food.” And so in 1999, after a decade in the music business, she enrolled at Pasadena’s California School of Culinary Arts, and found her calling as a chef. She went on to work with chefs Joaquim Splichal (as a pastry cook at Patina), Fred Eric (as a line cook at the late great Vida), and Wolfgang Puck (on his eponymous Food Network show), and cooked for Hollywood stars (“a persnickety clientele, to say the least!”) as a chef for Deluxe Motion Picture Catering.

In 2001 Angie relocated to New York and now makes her living as a cook and culinary producer.
