Chef Einav Gefen

Chef Einav Gefen is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC. Gefen interned at New York's Daniel, and was the executive chef at Danal in Manhattan’s East village where she got a wonderful write up at “Time Out Restaurant Guide 2001”. Gefen began her culinary career in Tel Aviv and worked as a sous-chef at Mul-Yam (Tel Aviv, Israel) proclaimed the best Restaurant in Israel by the French Restaurant Guide, Gault-Millau.

In 2001, Gefen founded and became the Director of the Culinary Arts Program at the Jewish Community Center, Manhattan. Her recipe book Art & Cook was published in 2003.

From 2003 to 2008 Gefen was a professional Chef instructor at ICE (Instituted of Culinary Education) in Manhattan, and in 2008 she joined Unilever as the Corporate Head Chef for NA, where she leads a team of Chefs in charge of development of innovations, product rejuvination, and deployment of global projects.
