Kelly Choi
Food journalist and TV personality Kelly Choi is the Emmy-nominated creator, producer and host of New York's premiere restaurant show, "Eat Out NY."
Her program, which airs weekly on NYC TV, Ch 25, highlights the vibrant and electic dining scene within the five boroughs.
As producer and host, Kelly chooses every single restaurant that is featured, then ventures to the back of the house - the kitchen - to prepare a dish with the chef.
"Eat Out NY a la Kelly," a 2-minute spinoff of the half-hour program, and can also be seen on Ch 25 during prime time, as well as on the web.
Kelly is also host of nationally syndicated and Emmy-award winning "Secrets of New York," a weekly program that reveals little-known facts and mysteries about Gotham. Subjects include secrets of the city's subway system, skyscrapers, sewers, and even jails.
Whether you're a native NYer or new to the city, there is always something to be learned by watching "Secrets" with Kelly; she scores unlimited access to hard-to-find and hard-to-get-to locations in New York.
Kelly was born in Seoul, Korea, is a former model, and has a Masters degree in Magazine Writing from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. Currently, Kelly is working on a book called, "The 25 Most Delicious Dishes in New York."
She has been a judge on Iron Chef, appeared on the Martha Stewart Show, and can also be seen making guest appearances on the Maury Povich Show as well as the TV Guide Channel.
