Nellie Wu

Nellie Wu, the general manager at Element Seafood, has been a seafood lover for most of her life. Her family started a small retail seafood shop in Lower Manhattan 25 years ago, which today has expanded into a wholesale distributorship serving many of New York’s top restaurants. As part of her induction into the seafood business, Nellie spent a year working at a fourth-generation family-owned shellfish farm in Shelton, Washington.

Her passion for shellfish, oysters in particular, only grew from there.
