Tejal Rao
Tejal Rao was born in Northwest London and grew up there, Kuwait,
Khartoum, Paris, and Atlanta. In 2004, she graduated from Emerson
College in Boston where she studied literature, to attend culinary
school at Le Cordon Bleu in London. Tejal cooked in Washington DC and
San Francisco restaurants before moving to New York to work as a
writer. She currently lives in Brooklyn and contributes to Edible
Manhattan, Time Out New York, Gourmet.com, and Planet Green.
