Jim Clarke
Jim Clarke is the U.S. Country Manager for Wines of South Africa (WoSA), the generic, inclusive marketing body for South African wine exports. Jim is a former sommelier, having run the wine programs at New York’s Megu Restaurant and Armani Ristorante.
Jim has also been writing about wine, sake, and related subjects for twenty years; his articles have appeared in World of Fine Wine, Club Oenologique, SevenFifty Daily, Fortune, and elsewhere. In 2020 Jim received the International Louis Roederer Wine Writer Award for Feature Writing, and in August of that year Wine Business Monthly named him a Wine Industry Leader of the Year.
Jim is the author of The Wines of South Africa, published by Infinite Ideas.
