Julia Gross
Julia Gross has been working in the mezcal industry for about 7 years. She has worked with mezcal non profit maestros de mezcal, a non profit that focuses on producer advocacy, and now is the market manager for mal bien mezcal. Before that she was a Cheesemonger for over a decade and teaches classes featuring mezcal and cheese pairings. These pairings have been featured in Forbes and Culture magazine. Her classes focus on the history of agave farming and distillation and the place Mezcalās popularity has in current politics and climate change. This class will be artisan or ancestral mezcal paired with artisan made cheeses.
