Marc Watson

Marc Watson is the Master Distiller at Highland Park, bringing more than 11 years of experience across the brewing and distilling industry. A graduate of Heriot-Watt University’s Master’s program in Brewing and Distilling, Watson has worked with Shetland Distillery, Eden Mill, Holyrood Distillery, and Bonnington Distillery, and most recently served as Master Blender for The Famous Grouse and Naked Malt. In 2023, he was named Icons of Whisky Distillery Manager of the Year. A passionate whisky maker and flavor explorer, Watson spent six months working alongside Highland Park’s longtime Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion before taking over the role in 2025.
