Alexis Tanen Shaw

Alexis Tanen Shaw has been compelled by an inherent craving for deliciousness and has read, eaten, and cooked to that end since childhood.

She is proud to have been working as a cook continuously since 2001 in a variety of settings. After several years in an East Village restaurant, she worked as chef at a historic club in Park Slope and then as a caterer for all kinds of celebrations, both intimate and grand. Alexis has enjoyed working as a chef and sous chef at numerous successful private and public events at Astor Center.
