Jonathan Pogash is currently a mixologist and consultant for bars, restaurants and spirit companies. Trained by such cocktail luminaries as Gary Regan and Albert Trummer, Jonathan moved up in the ranks from barback, to bartender, to cocktail developer and consultant. In his thirteen years in the business, Jonathan has worked at such landmarks as The Russian Tea Room, Town Restaurant, Upstairs at Bouley, Flute Lounge, The Campbell Apartment, and The World Bar, among others. One of Jonathan’s current posts is that of Director of Cocktail Development for Hospitality Holdings, a group that owns and operates The World Bar, The Campbell Apartment, The Carnegie Club, Bookmarks Lounge, and Madison & Vine. Jonathan has created a client base with his company, Jonathan Pogash Consulting (www.thecocktailguru.com), that include several high-end liquor brands. In addition, Jonathan travels the world conducting mixology demonstrations and trainings, and has been mentioned in such publications as Sante Magazine, The New York Times, The New York Sun, Entrée Magazine, The Wine Enthusiast, and others.
