Marcey Brownstein Catering & Events was started 8 years ago by chef and owner Marcey Brownstein, who brings an impeccable sense of style - refined through 10 years in New York's fashion industry and a lifetime of international travel - to every event. While Marcey is lo longer behind the tiny stove in her apartment where she first started or driving the food herself to every event, we still hold true to the tenets on which she founded the company. We believe that the most delicious and beautiful food begins with the freshest ingredients, grown locally. We have made friends with some fantastic farmers over the years and rely on their offerings to augment our menus and introduce our guests to the best the land has to offer.

Over the past few years, Marcey Brownstein Catering & Events has become one of the most well-known and sought-after wedding caterers in New York. Much like our commitment to the most seasonal ingredients from local purveyors, we are committed to the belief that every wedding is different and should be a true reflection of the bride and groom, tailored to their style and taste. Marcey started the company by getting to know her clients one at a time, and we still do that, building working relationships with our brides and grooms that continue as friendships long after the wedding is over.

Two years ago, we moved our catering facility to Chelsea and open a cafe called Brownstein's, which features a menu that changes daily but always offers sandwiches, savories, and sweets created from seasonal ingredients. We also have a new wing of our catering company called Party-To-Go, which is a cost-effective way to host an event at your home or office with artisanally made hors d'oeuvres, platters of snacks and sandwiches, and delicious sweets, all made by our team of chefs and packaged to be ready to serve.
