Join bartender Gary Regan, author of The Joy of Mixology, for a couple of Happy Hours at Astor Center. Gary will talk about his “life behind bars,” tell tales about his first few years behind the stick in Manhattan during the 1970s, and talk about what it means to be a bartender. “Making drinks is probably the least significant part of the job,” he says. Gary will make drinks for all the guests during this workshop (guests will choose their cocktail prior to the event from a special cocktail menu that we’ll email to you after you book), and everyone will start the session with a special Champagne Cocktail that Gary has devised for Astor Center.
